Role Overview:
HealthyBaby’s hybrid Content Strategist & Copywriter will drive and execute strategic, compelling content and messaging across digital and physical touchpoints, with a special focus on HealthyBaby’s heroic subscription experience. This person will be responsible for strategizing and managing expert-led, developmentally-rich content and copy that harmonizes with brand strategy, digital excellence, and sales objectives to elevate our mission to support parents at every step of their parenting journey and every step of their baby’s developmental arc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, develop, and manage content strategy and copy, ensuring alignment with overarching brand vision and commercial objectives - this can range anywhere from editorial campaigns and content properties to packaging copy and copy editing for consistency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, E-Commerce, Design, Product, Operations, and external partners to ideate and produce integrated, impactful messaging and creative content.
- Strategically craft and optimize subscription landing pages and checkout flows, clearly articulating key product benefits and reasons to believe (RTBs).
- Develop targeted email and SMS communication strategies, including Welcome Series, Abandoned Cart, Post-purchase, Win-back, Browse Recovery, Back-in-stock, Cross-sell, and Product Recommendation flows.
- Write, edit, and oversee the production of physical collateral delivered alongside subscription products, aligning closely with the operations team for seamless execution.
- Create and manage compelling monthly landing pages across pregnancy and early childhood stages, ensuring ongoing updates and dynamic content integration from our ecosystem of experts and partners
- Adapt subscription content for retail and partner channels
- Partner closely with subject matter experts (internal and external) to curate accurate, engaging, stage-based developmental content, ensuring relevance and high engagement.
- Source, brief, and manage creative vendors and freelancers to ensure the timely production and delivery of exceptional digital and physical content assets (ex: video scripts and storying, social video scripts). Work with freelancers, designers, and other stakeholders to produce content that fits within broader brand and marketing goals.
- Continuously gather and analyze consumer insights and feedback to refine content strategies, optimize engagement, and maximize subscriber satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain detailed documentation of content strategies and assets, enabling seamless support and iterative improvement across all organizational functions.
- Provide strategic recommendations on messaging, audience targeting and positioning.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, and digital storytelling, preferably within subscription or direct-to-consumer brands.
- Proven ability to create strategic, impactful messaging aligned with consumer journeys.
- Strong experience in digital content optimization, landing pages, email marketing, SMS strategy, and integrated campaigns.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Familiarity with consumer insights and analytics to inform content strategy and copy decisions.
- Passionate about parenting, child development, and premium consumer experiences.
- This is a hybrid role with presence expected in office in Tribeca Monday Wednesday and Thursday
